Yup, i'm planning a trip to Bangkok in end of July, starting on 22nd July for around 8 days.
I've only found hotels and air tickets now but have yet to finalised on the itinerary. It's not entirely backpacking, maybe semi back packing. Estimate to spend around 1k for everything. Will be taking AirAsia.
Anyone wants to join?
At the moment, only two of us confirmed, me and Kwan Elaine :)
Oh, and anyone can advice me on the places to visit there or anything u know about bangkok traveling? :D

I went to Bangkok last Dec 09 on work visit. manage to shop a bit. u can read my post just find the word Bangkok from my right panel.
You can go to platinum mall, or Pratunam (outside Pratunam mall , there is nite market, the dress I bought is at RM20 and RM18). both malls are within walking distance.

baboon yee, I am going to Bangkok in Jan 2011. haha yea I went there once but didnt manage to go crazy on shopping because I was on tour! :(
As I know there are many cheap stuff that you can get. Like really really cheap stuff. And dont forget to watch their famous tiger show. You will be mesmerized. haha

shop like crazy woman in bangkok, i dont think u want to come back when u reach there and started your journey to shop.. hehe ! i go mad in my bangkok trip last year and bought 30 clothes and few bags and cosmetics and still feeling not enough !
word of advice, just buy .. cos way to cheap compare to msia..haha !
chaktucha is a must ! bargain bargain bargain!
